Amanda Means (born 1945 Marion New York) is an American artist and photographer. She received a BA from Cornell University in 1969 and a MFA in Photography from SUNY Buffalo (Visual Studies Workshop) in 1978. In 1976 she attended the Aperion Workshops and studied under Ralph Gibson. She is a master black and white printer having made prints for clients such as Robert Mapplethorpe Roni Horn and the Smithsonian Institution.
