AlpTransit also known as New Railway Link through the Alps NRLA (German: Neue Eisenbahn-Alpentransversale NEAT) is a Swiss federal project for faster north-south rail links across the Swiss Alps by constructing base tunnels several hundred metres below the current tunnels.
