Alphonse-Osias Gagnon (December 31 1860 – February 12 1941) was a Canadian Roman Catholic priest and Bishop of Sherbrooke from 1927 to 1941.Born in Bonsecours Canada East Gagnon studied at the Séminaire Saint-Charles-Borromée de Sherbrooke from 1875 to 1880. He was ordained a priest in 1883. From 1895 to 1897 he studied in Paris where he received a Master of Arts degree. Returning to Canada he held different teaching positions at the Séminaire.
