Allen Edward Ertel (born November 7 1937) is a Democratic politician and former member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania.Allen Ertel was born in Williamsport Pennsylvania. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1958 from the Thayer School of Engineering and Amos Tuck School of Business Administration in 1959 and from Yale Law School in 1965. He served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1962.
