Sir Allan Stephen Quartermaine CBE MC BSc (Eng) (9 November 1888 – 17 October 1978) was a British civil engineer.Allan Stephen Quartermaine was born in London on 9 November 1888 and was the holder of a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. He served as a commissioned officer in the Royal Engineers during the First World War and was awarded the Military Cross for gallantry as a Temporary Captain.
