All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen or AIMIM (translation: All India Council of the Union of Muslims) is a Muslim political party in India headquartered at Hyderabad. It has retained Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat since 1984. In 2009 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections AIMIM won seven seats. It has a huge Presence in and around the City of Hyderabad.In the Hyderabad Municipality election of 2009 AIMIM won 43 seats (out of 150) in the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad.
