Ali Rabei (Persian: علی ربیعی‎ born 6 December 1955) is an Iranian politician and sociologist and the country’s Minister of Labour. He was an adviser to the former President Mohammad Khatami from 1997 to 2005 and also of House of Labour from 2006 to 2012. On 4 August 2013 he was nominated for as minister of labour to the Parliament by Hassan Rouhani. He is also professor at Allameh Tabatabaei University.
