Alexander Vladimirovich Povetkin (Russian: Алекса́ндр Влади́мирович Пове́ткин; born 2 September 1979 in Kursk Russian SFSR Soviet Union) is a Russian professional boxer. Formerly trained by Alexander Zimin and Teddy Atlas Povetkin since 2012 is coached by former super lightweight world champion Kostya Tszyu.
