Albert Van Zetten (born 12 April 1954) is an Australian politician and the current Mayor of Launceston Tasmania. He is also the current CEO of City Mission Launceston. He lives in Riverside with his wife Lyndle. He won his most recent term in office in contentious circumstances winning the election by only a single vote in a recount.He is well known for his opposition to the Bell Bay Pulp Mill.
