Albert Park Football Club is an Australian rules football club located 3 km south of Melbourne in the suburb of Albert Park.Originally affiliated with the VFA during the 19th century Albert Park was one of the eight founding members of the Victorian Football Association formed in 1877. The club finished fourth in their debut season but their stay in the Association was short lived. In 1880 the club merged with South Melbourne Football Club.
