The Rt Rev Alan Wyndham Morgan OBE (22 June 1940 – 24 October 2011 ) was the Suffragan Bishop of Sherwood from 1989 until 2004. He was born on and educated at Gowerton Boys’ Grammar School and St David’s College Lampeter. He was ordained in 1966 and began his ecclesiastical career with curacies in Llangyfelach Cockett and Coventry.
