Alan Harris Nevas (b. 1928 Norwalk CT) was a Federal Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. He served on the court from 1985 to 2009 when he retired. Judge Nevas was nominated to the court by Ronald Reagan on September 9 1985 to a new seat created by 98 Stat. 333 confirmed by the United States Senate on October 16 1985 and received his commission on October 17 1985. He assumed senior status on March 27 1997.
