Alan Roger Davies (born 6 March 1966) is an English comedian writer and actor best known for his stand-up routine and his appearances on British television.Since 1997 Alan has played the lead role in the BBC One mystery series Jonathan Creek and he currently appears as a regular panelist on the BBC Two panel show QI.
