Al-Fatat or the Young Arab Society (Arabic: جمعية العربية الفتاة Jam’iyat al-’Arabiya al-Fatat) was founded in Paris in 1911 by Arab nationalist Izzat Darwaza (1888–1984). It was a secret Arab nationalist organization under the Ottoman Empire. Its aims were to gain independence and unity for various Arab territories then under the Ottoman rule. It found adherents in areas such as Syria.
