Akkadō (安家洞) is a limestone cavern located in Iwaizumi Iwate Japan. It has a measured length of 23702 metres (77762 ft) which is the longest in Japan. The cave system is designated as a Natural monument by the Japanese government in 1980. From 1991 a portion of caverns were opened to the public for part of the year.
