Air Republiq Airlines started operations in 2011 as an arm of South Phoenix Airlines to cater the Islands of Batanes linking them to different major cities of Luzon. It uses the Piper Navajo fleet for this purpose. Operating with interline agreement with Cyclone Airways it flies under operators certification of Cyclone airways.Catering to the Ivatans it has been serving the islands connecting Basco to Laoag Tuguegarao and linking Basco to the nearby town of Itbayat.
