Afton Cooper (formerly Van Buren) is a fictional character in the popular American television series Dallas played by Audrey Landers. She joined the cast during the fourth season in 1981. She stayed until the first episode of the eighth season. Landers returned at the end of the twelfth season for five episodes and reprised her role one more time in the movie Dallas: J.R. Returns in 1996. In 2013 Afton returned in the second season of the new 2012 series Dallas.
