Adrian Newman (born 21 December 1958) is the area Bishop of Stepney in the Diocese of London. He was formerly Dean of Rochester.Newman studied at the University of Bristol (BSc DipTh MPhil) and was an economist prior to his ordination to the priesthood.Ordained in 1986 his first appointment was as a curate of St Mark’s Forest Gate after which he was the Vicar of Wadsley Bridge.
