Adolph Marx (February 18 1915 – November 1 1965) was the first Roman Catholic bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brownsville in Brownsville Texas.Born in Cologne Germany Marx was ordained a priest for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Corpus Christi on May 2 1940. On July 6 1956 Pope Pius XII appointed Marx auxiliary bishop of the Corpus Christi Diocese and he was ordained on October 9 1956.
