Adnan Polat (born 1953) is a Turkish businessman born in Erzurum in north-east Turkey. He is past the chairman of the Turkish sports club Galatasaray.After graduating from high school in 1976[citation needed] he went on to study business administration at Long Island University in USA. He returned to Turkey to work in his family’s construction business. After 1981 he joined Ege Ceramics as CEO for 10 years.
