Acefylline also known as acetyloxytheophylline is a stimulant drug of the xanthine chemical class. It acts as an adenosine receptor antagonist. It is combined with diphenhydramine in the pharmaceutical preparation etanautine to help offset its stimulant effects.Theophyllines are classified in this group.
