Abraham Oyanedel Urrutia (born Copiapó 25 May 1874; died 28 January 1954) was president of Chile in 1932.He studied law at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago and in 1897 received his law degree. During the 1891 Chilean Civil War Oyanedel fought for the Congressional army.In 1927 he was appointed a member of the Supreme Court of Chile[citation needed] and served as Chief Justice.
