Abctales.com is a writers’ website first established in December 2000. It originated as an idea of The Big Issue founder John Bird and was started by Gordon Roddick co-founder of The Body Shop and Tony Cook co-founder of Red Pepper Magazine. Tony Cook stepped down as acting editor in October 2013 and the site is now being edited by Luke Neima.
