Abigail Rachel Abby Newman (née Carlton) is a fictional character from the American CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. The character was born onscreen on November 13 2000 as the daughter of Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). The role was portrayed by Darcy Rose Byrnes as a child until 2008 when the character was rapidly aged to a teenager with Hayley Erin assuming the role the following year.
