Abandoned & Little-Known Airfields is a website started by Paul Freeman in 1999 that is an online database which aims to detail information on every airport in the United States. Freeman started the site in 1999 as he had an interest in old airfields in the country. With over 1500 airports on the site the site aims to chronicle all former airports which close at about a rate of one per week.
