Anthony James AJ Allmendinger (born December 16 1981) is an American open-wheel and stock car racing driver. He earned five wins and a third championship place in the 2006 Champ Car season. Afterwards he contested the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series achieving a 15th place in the 2011 championship and third in the 2009 Daytona 500.
