9906 Tintoretto is a mid-sized Eunomian asteroid that orbits the Sun once every 4.24 years.Discovered on September 26 1960 by Cornelis Johannes van Houten and Ingrid van Houten-Groeneveld on photographic plates made by Tom Gehrels at the Palomar Observatory with the Samuel Oschin telescope it was given the provisional designation 6523 P-L. It was later renamed Tintoretto after Venetian painter Jacopo Robusti who was known as Tintoretto.
