983 Gunila is a minor planet orbiting the Sun. It was discovered on July 30 1922 by German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth in Heidelberg and given the preliminary designation 1922 ME.Photometric observations at the Oakley Observatory in Terre Haute Indiana during 2007 were used to build a light curve for this object.This asteroid is currently being observed by the ASTR315 class at University of Maryland to determine its rotation period.
