9667 Amastrinc is an asteroid named in honor of Amateur Astronomers Inc. an astronomy club in Cranford New Jersey by astronomer Joe Montani of Spacewatch. Montani discovered the asteroid in April 1997 at Kitt Peak. 9667 Amastrinc is a main-belt asteroid meaning that it is located roughly between the orbits of the planets Mars and Jupiter.
