9420 Dewar (1995 XP4) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on December 14 1995 by Spacewatch at Kitt Peak.It orbits the sun completing one orbit every 3.4189 years.It is named after James Dewar (1842-1923) who was a Scottish-born chemist and physicist and who studied chemical reactions at low temperature.
