89 Herculis is a sixth-magnitude star in the constellation Hercules. Located about 4000 light years away it is among a rare class of stars known as yellow supergiants. Although the star’s parallax measurement still has a large error factor of ± 1300ly making the calculation of other stellar parameters difficult the star is believed to have a radius of 60 R☉ yielding a bolometric luminosity of 7000-9000 L☉.
