771 Libera is a minor planet orbiting the Sun. It was discovered in 1913 by Austrian astronomer Joseph Rheden and named after a family friend.Photometric observations of this asteroid collected during 1999 show a rotation period of 5.892 ± 0.002 hours with a brightness variation of 0.57 magnitude.
