7240 Hasebe (provisional designation: 1989 YG) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Yoshikane Mizuno and Toshimasa Furuta in Kani Gifu Prefecture Japan on December 19 1989. It is named after Takao Hasebe a Japanese amateur astronomer and a teacher of Mizuno.
