The 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards honoring the best in primetime television programming from June 1 2013 until May 31 2014 will be held on August 25 2014 at the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles California. The ceremony will be held one month earlier than usual and on a Monday instead of the usual Sunday because of American broadcaster NBC’s contractual obligations to televise Sunday Night Football.
