58605 Liutungsheng (provisional designation: 1997 TA27) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered through the Beijing Schmidt CCD Asteroid Program at the Xinglong Station in the Yan Mountains of China on October 8 1997. It is named after Liu Dongsheng a Chinese geologist and archaeologist of the 20th and 21st centuries.
