55108 Beamueller (2001 QU142) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on August 24 2001 by R. Tucker at the Goodricke-Pigott Observatory. Beatrice E. A. Mueller (b. 1959) of the Planetary Science Institute in Tucson studies small bodies of the solar system. She specializes in photometry and rotational studies of small bodies and was one of the first to discover the ultra-red colors of the centaur 5145 Pholus.
