50768 Ianwessen (provisional designation: 2000 FW2) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Gary Hug at the Farpoint Observatory near Auburn Kansas on March 27 2000. It is named after Ian Remington Wessen (born September 19 1992) who in high school worked part-time for the Europa Jupiter System Mission. He is now currently studying physics at University of California Santa Barbara.
