5-MeO-NMT or 5-methoxy-N-methyltryptamine is a lesser-known psychedelic drug. It is the 5-methoxy analog of NMT. 5-MeO-NMT was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin. In his book TiHKAL (Tryptamines I Have Known and Loved) neither the dosage nor the duration are known. 5-MeO-NMT produces few to no effects. Very little data exists about the pharmacological properties metabolism and toxicity of 5-MeO-NMT.
