5-(N-Methyl-2-aminopropyl)-23-dihydro-1H-indene (5-MAPDI) also known as indanylmethylaminopropane (IMP) is a putative entactogen and selective serotonin releasing agent (SSRA) of the amphetamine family. 5-MAPDI has not been studied in humans but based on its close structural similarity to its N-demethylated analog 5-(2-aminopropyl)-23-dihydro-1H-indene (5-APDI) it may have similar effects.
