4887 Takihiroi (1981 EV26) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on March 2 1981 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring Observatory in the course of the U.K. Schmidt-Caltech Asteroid Survey.This asteroid was named after Dr. Takahiro Hiroi a Japanese planetary scientist specializing in asteroid-meteorite spectroscopy.
