4834 Thoas (1989 AM2) is a Jupiter Trojan discovered on January 11 1989 by C. S. Shoemaker at Palomar.Photometric observations of this asteroid during 1996 were used to build a light curve showing a rotation period of 18.22 ± 0.04 hours with a brightness variation of 0.14 ± 0.01 magnitude.
