4778 Fuss (1978 TV8) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on October 9 1978 by Zhuravleva L. V. at Nauchnyj. This asteroid was named after Nikolai Fuss who was a contributor to Russian mathematics education and his son Pavel Fuss who published a bibliography of Euler’s collected works.
