In enzymology a (3S4R)-34-dihydroxycyclohexa-15-diene-14-dicarboxylate dehydrogenase (EC 1.3.1.53) is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction(3S4R)-34-dihydroxycyclohexa-15-diene-14-dicarboxylate + NAD+ 34-dihydroxybenzoate + CO2 + NADHThus the two substrates of this enzyme are (3S4R)-34-dihydroxycyclohexa-15-diene-14-dicarboxylate and NAD+ whereas its 3 products are 34-dihydroxybenzoate CO2 and NADH.This enzyme belongs to the family of oxidoreductases specifically those acting on the CH-CH group of donor with NAD+ or NADP+ as acceptor.
