3793 Leonteus (1985 TE3) is a Jupiter Trojan discovered on October 11 1985 by E. Shoemaker and C. Shoemaker at Palomar. It was named after Leonteus a hero of the Trojan War in Greek mythology.Photometric observations of this asteroid during 1994 were used to build a light curve showing a rotation period of 5.6225 ± 0.0005 hours with a brightness variation of 0.24 ± 0.01 magnitude.
