(35671) 1998 SN165 also written as (35671) 1998 SN165 is a trans-Neptunian object. It was discovered on September 23 1998 by A. Gleason at Steward Observatory.It was originally classified as a plutino with a 2:3 mean motion resonance with Neptune. In August 2001 it was still the largest plutino other than Pluto and Charon so far identified. But later plutino discoveries such as 38628 Huya 28978 Ixion and 90482 Orcus are larger.
