34399 Hachiojihigashi (provisional designation: 2000 RD79) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered through the BATTeRS survey at the Bisei Spaceguard Center in Bisei Okayama Prefecture Japan on September 7 2000. It is named for the Hachioji Higashi High School in Tokyo Japan where three students won a 2008 satellite design contest.
