32811 Apisaon (1990 TP12) is a Jupiter Trojan discovered on October 14 1990 by F. Borngen and L. D. Schmadel at Tautenburg. The asteroid is named for a minor Trojan officer mentioned in book eleven Homer’s Iliad. In the epic Apisaon was slain by the spear of the warrior Eurypylos as he attempted to engage the hero Ajax in battle.
