3248 Farinella (1982 FK) is an outer main-belt asteroid discovered on March 21 1982 by Bowell E. at Flagstaff (AM).The asteroid is named after Paolo Farinella (1953–2000) who was an Italian planetary scientist very active in the study of asteroids collisions and space debris.
