30 Arietis (sometimes abbreviated 30 Ari) is a 6th magnitude triple star in the constellation Aries. 30 Arietis A and B are separated by 38.1 or about 1500 AU at a distance of 130 light years away. Based on their luminosities — nearly quadruple that of our Sun in the case of 30 Ari A and nearly double in the case of 30 Ari B — the B star is an F-type main-sequence star meaning it is fusing hydrogen in its core while the A star is a giant star.
