3059 Pryor (1981 EF23) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on March 3 1981 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring. It is named for American astronomer Tad Pryor in honor of his participation in the Palomar Planet-Crossing Asteroid Survey when he was as an undergraduate student at Caltech.
